Every shingle roof starts with the layers beneath the shingles. Synthetic underlayment rolls across the entire roof deck as the primary waterproof barrier. Ice-and-water shield goes down in the valleys, along the eaves, and around every penetration — chimney flashing, pipe boots, vent boots. Drip edge along every eave and rake directs water into the gutters instead of behind the fascia.

Consultation & Inspection
Free on-site inspection. We measure, assess your roof deck condition, and walk you through architectural vs. three-tab shingles with realistic pricing. No pressure, just facts.
Tear-Off & Deck Prep
We strip the old shingles, underlayment, and damaged flashing down to the roof deck. Every square foot of OSB or plywood sheathing inspected for rot, water damage, and soft spots. Compromised decking replaced before new materials go down.
Waterproofing Layer
Synthetic underlayment across the full roof deck. Ice-and-water shield in valleys, along eaves, and around chimney flashing, pipe boots, and vent boots. New drip edge installed at every eave and rake. Step flashing and counter-flashing at all wall transitions.
Shingle Installation
Field shingles installed with proper exposure and overlap. Nailed per manufacturer specs — 4 nails standard, 6 in high-wind zones. Starter strips at the eave prevent wind uplift. Ridge cap shingles finish every peak with integrated ridge vent for ventilation.
